Hair and Beauty
There are three qualifications available at this level:
- Level 1 Award in an Introduction to the Hair and Beauty Sector
- Level 1 Certificate in an Introduction to the Hair and Beauty Sector
- Level 1 Diploma in an Introduction to the Hair and Beauty Sector.
Whichever qualification you choose, you complete two mandatory units:
- Introduction to the hair and beauty sector
- Presenting a professional image in a salon
Depending on whether you choose the shorter award or the longer certificate or diploma, you also choose one or several optional units from a range of 12, including:
- Skin care
- Nail art application
- Styling men's hair
- Styling women's hair
- The art of photographic make-up
